Section 59A — National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013: Providing false or misleading information or documents to the Commission

A person contravenes this section if: (a) the person provides information or a document to the Commissioner or a Commission officer for the purposes of this Act; and (b) the person knows the information or document is false or misleading in a material particular. Note: Part 7.4 of the Criminal Code provides offences in relation to false or misleading statements, information and documents. Civil penalty: 120 penalty units.
