Section 73D — National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013: False or misleading information or documents in application

A person contravenes this section if the person: (a) provides information or a document in, or in connection with, an application for registration; and (b) knows the information or document is false or misleading in a material particular. Note: Part 7.4 of the Criminal Code provides offences in relation to false or misleading statements, information and documents. Civil penalty: (a) for a serious contravention by an NDIS provider—10,000 penalty units; or (b) in any other case—120 penalty units.
