Section 279 — Paid Parental Leave Act 2010: Guide to this Part

This Part is about payment nominees (who are people who can receive payments of instalments of parental leave pay on behalf of other people for the purposes of this Act) and correspondence nominees (who are people who can receive notices on behalf of other people for the purposes of this Act). Division 2 allows the Secretary to appoint a person to be a payment nominee, or a correspondence nominee, for another person for the purposes of this Act. Divisions 3, 4 and 5 deal with the consequences of such an appointment.
