Section 47 — Paid Parental Leave Act 2010: When a person is caring for a child

(1) A person is caring for a child on a day if the child is in the person’s care on that day. Note: More than one person may be caring for the same child on any particular day. (2) Despite subsection (1), a person is not caring for a child on a day if, before that day, the child has died.
