The principal executive of an agency of a kind specified in column 1 of an item in the following table is the person specified in column 2 of the item: Item Column 1 Agency Column 2 Principal executive 1 Department The Secretary of the Department 2 An unincorporated body, or a tribunal, referred to in paragraph (c) of the definition of agency in subsection 6(1) The chief executive officer of the body or tribunal 3 A body referred to in paragraph (d) of the definition of agency in subsection 6(1) The chief executive officer of the body 4 A federal court The principal registrar of the court or the person occupying an equivalent office 5 The Australian Federal Police The Commissioner of Police 5A A body or tribunal referred to in paragraph (ca) of the definition of agency in subsection 6(1) The person responsible for the day-to-day management of the agency 5D A court of Norfolk Island The registrar or principal registrar of the court or the person occupying an equivalent office 9 An eligible hearing service provider that is an individual The individual 10 An eligible hearing service provider that is not an individual The individual primarily responsible for the management of the eligible hearing service provider
