Section 1061ZT — Social Security Act 1991: Certain dependants not qualified for health care card

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a person is not qualified for a health care card in respect of any day on which the person: (a) is a dependant of any person; or (b) is wholly or substantially dependent on: (i) a resident of; or (ii) a corporation carrying on business in; or (iii) the government of; a country other than Australia. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to: (a) a person who is the partner of another person; or (b) a person who is qualified for a health care card under subsection 1061ZK(2) or (3) or subsection 1061ZO(3), (4), (5) or (9).
