Section 1061ZVDB — Social Security Act 1991: SSL debt discharged by death
Text of the provision Official document
Upon the death of a person who owes an SSL debt to the Commonwealth, the debt is taken to have been paid. Note: SSL debts are not provable in bankruptcy: see subsection 82(3AB) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966.
