Section 1061ZZCT — Social Security Act 1991: Effect of notices and requests

(1) A notice to a person under this Division or under the corresponding provision of the Social Security Student Financial Supplement Scheme 1998 or of the Student Assistance Act 1973 as in force at a time before 1 July 1998, is intended only to give information to the person and an FS debt of the person is not affected by a failure to give a notice or by any incorrect statement or information in a notice given under this Division or that corresponding provision. (2) The making by a person of a request for a notice to be corrected does not affect an FS debt of the person.
