Section 1061ZZDG — Social Security Act 1991: Secretary may give notice to person and corporation

(1) If the Secretary is satisfied that: (a) a person who is a party to a financial supplement contract with a participating corporation was given a notice under section 1061ZZCW; and (b) false or misleading information was given to the Commonwealth in relation to the calculation of the original amount; and (c) the payment of financial supplement in excess of the revised amount resulted from the false or misleading information; the Secretary may give to the person and the corporation a notice stating that he or she is so satisfied and telling them that this Subdivision applies in relation to them. (2) If the Secretary is satisfied that: (a) a person who is a party to a financial supplement contract with a participating corporation was given a notice under section 14.5 of the Social Security Student Financial Supplement Scheme 1998; and (b) false or misleading information was given to the Commonwealth in relation to the calculation of the original amount; and (c) the payment of financial supplement in excess of the revised amount resulted from the false or misleading information; the Secretary may give to the person and the corporation a notice stating that he or she is so satisfied and telling them that this Subdivision applies in relation to them.
