Section 1061ZZEV — Social Security Act 1991: Secretary to give notice to Commissioner of Taxation

If a person who has made a financial supplement contract with a participating corporation has an FS debt immediately after the termination date of the contract, the Secretary must, if such a notice has not already been given under the corresponding provision of the Social Security Student Financial Supplement Scheme 1998 or of the Student Assistance Act 1973 as in force at a time before 1 July 1998, give to the Commissioner of Taxation, as soon as practicable after that date, a notice stating as many of the following matters as the Secretary knows: (a) the person’s name; (b) the person’s identifying number; (c) the person’s last-known address; (d) the person’s tax file number; (e) the amount of the FS debt or the amounts of the FS debts that the person incurred on 1 June immediately following the termination date; (f) any other information about the person that is reasonably required by the Commissioner to administer this Part.
