Section 1179 — Social Security Act 1991: The section 1178 recoverable amount

The recoverable amount under this section is equal to the smaller of the following amounts: (a) the compensation part of the lump sum compensation payment; (b) the sum of the payments of the compensation affected payment made to the person in relation to a day or days in the lump sum preclusion period.
