Section 1210A — Social Security Act 1991: Effect of nil rate of pension etc.

(1) If, in relation to a day: (a) a person is qualified for a social security pension or benefit; and (b) the pension or benefit rate in relation to that day would be nil; then, for the purposes of Part 2A.1, the person is not to be taken to be receiving the pension or benefit on that day. (2) The circumstance that a person is qualified for a social security pension or benefit in relation to a day is not to be taken into account for the purpose of determining the qualification of the person for a concession card if the pension or benefit is not payable to the person in relation to that day.
