Section 1224AB — Social Security Act 1991: Joint and several liability for persons involved in contravention of Act

If: (a) a person is liable to pay a debt because the person contravened a provision of this Act as in force immediately before 20 March 2000, or a provision of the social security law; and (b) another person is convicted of an offence under section 11.2, 11.2A, 11.4 or 11.5 of the Criminal Code in relation to the contravention; the persons referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) are jointly and severally liable to pay the debt.
