Section 1224C — Social Security Act 1991: Data-matching Program (Assistance and Tax) Acts debts

If: (a) an amount has been paid to a person by way of a social security payment; and (b) the amount is a debt due to the Commonwealth under subsection 11(6) of the Data-matching Program (Assistance and Tax) Act 1990; the amount so paid is recoverable by the Commonwealth.
