Section 1260 — Social Security Act 1991: Meaning of Australia

(1) For the purposes of this Part, Australia, when used in a geographical sense, includes the external Territories. (2) For the purposes of this section: (a) the definition of external Territory in subsection 23(1) does not apply; and (b) external Territory has the meaning given by section 2B of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
