Section 28C — Social Security Act 1991: Declared program participants

(1) The Secretary may, by legislative instrument, make a determination for the purposes of the definition of declared program participant in subsection 23(1). (2) The determination may provide for the operation of the social security law in relation to a person who becomes, or stops being, a declared program participant at a particular time (including in relation to things that happened before that time).
