Section 514B — Social Security Act 1991: Continued payment of deceased partner’s previous entitlement

If a surviving partner is qualified for payments under this Subdivision in relation to the death of the deceased partner, there is payable to the surviving partner, on each of the deceased partner’s paydays in the bereavement rate continuation period, an amount equal to the amount that would have been payable to the deceased partner on that payday if he or she had not died. Note: For bereavement rate continuation period see section 21.
