Section 665M — Social Security Act 1991: Payment to a special benefit recipient

A person is qualified for an education entry payment under this section if: (a) the person would be qualified for a pension PP (single) apart from paragraphs 500(1)(b) and (d) (Australian residency requirements); and (b) the person is receiving special benefit; and (c) a pensioner education supplement is payable to the person; and Note: Pensioner education supplement is payable to a person even if a person’s whole payment has been traded in, or traded back, under the Student Financial Supplement Scheme established under Chapter 2B. (e) the person has not received a payment under this Part for which he or she made a claim in the current calendar year.
