Section 92J — Social Security Act 1991: Registration

(1) If an application is made in accordance with this Subdivision, the Secretary must register the applicant as a member of the pension bonus scheme. (1A) However, the Secretary must not register a person as a member of the pension bonus scheme if the person’s date of qualification for the age pension occurs on or after 20 September 2009. (1B) For the purposes of subsection (1A), subsections 92H(8) and (9) apply in a way corresponding to the way in which they apply for the purposes of section 92H. (2) This section has effect subject to subsection 92F(2).
