Section 123SCE — Social Security (Administration) Act 1999: Eligible care period

(1) For the purposes of this Part, an eligible care period is a period ascertained in accordance with a determination under subsection (2). (2) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, make a determination for the purposes of subsection (1). (3) A period ascertained under subsection (1) may be a recurring period (for example, a fortnight). (4) For the purposes of this Part, it is immaterial whether an eligible care period begins before or after the commencement of this section.
