Section 214 — Social Security (Administration) Act 1999: False statement or document

Text of the provision Official document

(1) A person contravenes this subsection if: (a) the person makes a statement to an officer or the Human Services Department; and (b) the statement is false or misleading in any particular; and (c) the person is reckless as to whether the statement is false or misleading in any particular. (2) A person contravenes this subsection if: (a) the person presents a document to an officer or the Human Services Department; and (b) the document is false or misleading in any particular; and (c) the person is reckless as to whether the document is false or misleading in any particular.
