Section 196H — Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986: Copyright in submissions

(1) The Repatriation Medical Authority is not the owner of any copyright subsisting in material (submitted material) contained in a submission made to the Authority for the purposes of an investigation under section 196B. (2) In spite of the Copyright Act 1968, the Authority does not infringe any copyright subsisting in submitted material if, in performing its functions or exercising its powers, the Authority does an act comprised in the copyright without the licence of the owner of the copyright.
