Section 196I — Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986: Access to information

(1) Subject to subsection (2), any person or organisation referred to in any of paragraphs 196E(1)(a) to (c) is entitled, on request made in writing to the Repatriation Medical Authority, to have reasonable access to any document containing information considered by the Authority for the purposes of an investigation. (2) The Authority may not disclose any personal information about a particular person if the information is likely to reveal the identity of that person.
