Section 215 — Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986: Annual report

(1) The Commission shall, as soon as practicable after 30 June in each year, prepare and furnish to the Minister a report on the operation of this Act during the year that ended on that 30 June. (2) The Minister shall cause a copy of a report furnished to the Minister under subsection (1) to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after the day on which the Minister receives the report. (3) The first report to be prepared and furnished under subsection (1) shall be a report: (a) on the administration and operation of the Repatriation Act 1920 in respect of the period that commenced on 1 July 1985 and ended on the day immediately preceding the date fixed under section 2; and (b) on the operation of this Act in respect of the period that commenced on the date fixed under section 2 and ends on 30 June 1986.
