Section 56EC — Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986: Cancellation determination where service pension, income support supplement or veteran payment not payable

(1) If a service pension, income support supplement or a veteran payment is not payable to a person because the rate of the pension, supplement or payment: (a) has been determined to be nil; or (b) has been reduced to nil under section 56 or 56A; the Commission may determine that the pension, supplement or payment is to be cancelled. (2) The determination must be in writing. Note: For the date of effect of a determination under this section, see section 56H.
