Section 63L — Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986: Who can claim?

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a claim must be made by: (a) the person who wants to be paid an essential medical equipment payment; or (b) with the approval of the person—another person on the person’s behalf. (2) If the person is unable, because of physical or mental incapacity, to approve another person to make the claim on his or her behalf, the Commission may approve another person to make the claim.
