Section 190 — Work Health and Safety Act 2011: Offence to assault, threaten or intimidate inspector

A person commits an offence if: (a) the person engages in conduct; and (b) the person intends, by engaging in that conduct, to directly or indirectly assault, threaten or intimidate another person; and (c) the other person is an inspector or a person assisting an inspector. Penalty: (a) In the case of an individual—the tier B monetary penalty or imprisonment for 2 years or both. (b) In the case of a body corporate—the tier B monetary penalty.
