169 Chief executive must monitor current and emerging trends in building design, etc, and must report annually to Minister (1) The chief executive must monitor current and emerging trends in building design, building technologies, and other factors that may affect— (a) the building code and compliance documents: (b) any warnings issued, and bans declared, under section 26 in relation to any building method or product: (c) any guidance information published by the chief executive under section 175 : (d) any other functions and duties of the chief executive under this Act. (2) The chief executive must, in each year, make a report to the Minister on the performance of his or her functions under subsection (1) .
