170 Chief executive must consult in performing certain functions The chief executive must, in performing his or her functions, consult with,— (a) in the case of functions that involve advice, approval, and determinations about fire safety and fire-engineering practice, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission: (b) in the case of disability issues, the chief executive of the department of State responsible for disability issues.
