Section 22 — Building Act 2004: Compliance document for use in establishing compliance with building code

22 Compliance document for use in establishing compliance with building code (1) The chief executive may, by notice in the Gazette , issue a document for use in establishing compliance with the building code (a compliance document). (2) A person who complies with a compliance document must, for the purposes of this Act, be treated as having complied with the provisions of the building code to which the document relates. (3) Subsection (2) is subject to any regulations referred to in section 20 . Compare: 1991 No 150 s 49(1)
