Section 325 — Building Act 2004: Witnesses' fees, allowances, and expenses

325 Witnesses' fees, allowances, and expenses (1) A witness appearing before the Board under a summons is entitled to be paid witnesses' fees, allowances, and expenses in accordance with the scales prescribed by regulations under the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 . (2) The person requiring attendance of the witness must pay or tender to the witness the fees, allowances, and expenses at the time the summons is served or at some other reasonable time before the hearing.
