Section 327 — Building Act 2004: Witness and counsel privileges

327 Witness and counsel privileges (1) Every person who does the following things has the same privileges as witnesses have in a court: (a) provides documents, things, or information to the Board in relation to a disciplinary matter; or (b) gives evidence or answers questions at a hearing of the Board in relation to a disciplinary matter. (2) Every counsel appearing before the Board in relation to a disciplinary matter has the same privileges and immunities as counsel in a court. Compare: 2002 No 17 s 33
