Section 34 — Building Act 2004: Issue of project information memorandum

34 Issue of project information memorandum (1) A territorial authority must issue a project information memorandum within 20 working days after receiving an application under section 31(1)(a) or section 32 . (2) However, if the territorial authority requires any information under section 33(1)(b) or (c) , the period specified in subsection (1) is suspended until it receives the information. (3) The territorial authority must issue the project information memorandum within 10 working days after receiving that information. (4) A territorial authority may, within the period specified in subsection (1) or, if applicable, in subsection (3) , reissue a project information memorandum if the territorial authority— (a) considers, on reasonable grounds, that the project information memorandum contains an error or omission; or (b) receives information that affects the project information memorandum.
