Section 355 — Building Act 2004: Particular requirements for preparation of rules containing LBP standards

355 Particular requirements for preparation of rules containing LBP standards In preparing a rule containing LBP standards, the chief executive must— (a) ensure that the proposed rule is consistent with the purposes of this Act; and (b) consult with licensed building practitioners or any persons whom the chief executive reasonably considers to be representative of licensed building practitioners or of other persons or classes of persons affected by the proposed rule; and (c) take into account international best practice and New Zealand's international obligations.
