Section 378 — Building Act 2004: Time limit for laying information

378 Time limit for laying information Despite section 14 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 , an information for an offence against this Act may be laid at any time within 6 months after the time when the matter giving rise to the information first became known, or should have become known, to any of the following persons: (a) the chief executive; or (b) a territorial authority; or (c) a regional authority; or (d) any person referred to in section 176(g) .
