Section 439 — Building Act 2004: Transitional provision for document used in establishing compliance with building code

439 Transitional provision for document used in establishing compliance with building code (1) This section applies if, before the commencement of this section,— (a) a document for use in establishing compliance with the building code has been prepared or approved under section 49(1) of the former Act; and (b) in a case where that document has been approved, the approval has not been withdrawn under section 49(6) of that Act. (2) On and from the commencement of this section, the document referred to in subsection (1) must be treated as if it were a compliance document.
