Section 76 — Building Act 2004: Exemption from section 75

76 Exemption from section 75 (1) Section 75 does not apply if— (a) the owner proposes to construct a building with party walls that will be on the boundaries of the allotments referred to in that section; or (b) the owner has applied to the Registrar-General of Land under section 82 for the Registrar's consent to the preparation of a plan (as defined by that section). (2) Section 82 applies if subsection (1)(b) applies. Compare: 1991 No 150 s 37(11)
