Section Sch3-17 — Building Act 2004: Method of disclosure of interest

17 Method of disclosure of interest (1) If clause 16 applies, the member must disclose the details listed in subclause (2) in an interests register and to— (a) the chairperson or, if there is no chairperson, the deputy chairperson; or (b) if the member concerned is the chairperson or the positions of the chairperson and deputy chairperson are vacant, the Minister. (2) The details are— (a) the nature of the interest and the monetary value of the interest (if the monetary value can be quantified); or (b) the nature and extent of the interest (if the monetary value cannot be quantified).
