Section 130 — Care of Children Act 2004: Counsel to assist Court

130 Counsel to assist Court (1) In proceedings before it under this Act (other than criminal proceedings), a Court may appoint a lawyer to assist the Court. (2) The lawyer may call a person as a witness in the proceedings, and may cross-examine witnesses called by a party to the proceedings or by the Court. Compare: 1968 No 63 s 30(1)(a), (3)
