Section 135 — Care of Children Act 2004: Costs of reports under section 133

135 Costs of reports under section 133 (1) Fees for reports prepared under a request under section 133(2) , and reasonable expenses incurred,— (a) may be determined in accordance with regulations made under section 147(2)(d) ; and (b) are payable by any party or parties to the proceedings the Court orders or, if the Court so decides, are payable out of public money appropriated by Parliament for the purpose. (2) An amount of any fees and expenses ordered to be paid by a party under subsection (1)(b) is, if paid by the Crown, a debt due to the Crown by that party and, in default of payment of the amount, payment of the amount may be enforced, by order of a District Court or the High Court as the case may require, in the same manner as a judgment of that Court.
