51 Court must consider protective conditions in certain cases (1) This section applies to a parenting order when— (a) the order provides for a person ( person A ) to have contact with a child; and (b) the Court is satisfied that person A has used violence (as defined in section 58 ) against the child or a person ( person B ) who has the role of providing day-to-day care for the child. (2) The Court must consider whether the order should be subject to conditions imposed for the purpose of protecting the safety of person B while person A's contact with the child takes place (including while the child is being collected from, or returned to, person B). (3) This section does not limit section 48(4) or (5) or section 60 . Compare: 1968 No 63 s 15(2B)
