Section 54 — Care of Children Act 2004: Orders in proceedings under Domestic Violence Act 1995

54 Orders in proceedings under Domestic Violence Act 1995 (1) A Family Court hearing or otherwise dealing with proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act 1995 for a protection order may make any 1 or more of the following orders if it considers the order or orders necessary to protect the welfare and best interests of the child concerned: (a) any interim order or orders about the role of providing day-to-day care for, or about contact with, a child of the applicant's family (as defined in section 2 of the Domestic Violence Act 1995 ): (b) any interim order or orders varying any order of the kind referred to in paragraph (a) . (2) Section 50 applies with all necessary modifications to an order under subsection (1) . Compare: 1968 No 63 s 12(1A), (6)(a)
