Section 217 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Rights to be explained to child or young person who is arrested

217 Rights to be explained to child or young person who is arrested Subject to sections 233 and 244 of this Act, every enforcement officer shall, on arresting any child or young person pursuant to section 214 of this Act, explain to that child or young person the matters specified in paragraphs (c) to (f) of section 215(1) of this Act.
