Section 226 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Evidence of communications during consultation not admissible

226 Evidence of communications during consultation not admissible Notwithstanding any other enactment or rule of law, no evidence of any communication (whether oral, written, or in any other form) that occurs between a child or young person and any person with whom that child or young person is consulting pursuant to section 221(2)(b) of this Act while that consultation is taking place shall be admissible on behalf of the prosecution in any proceedings against that child or young person for any offence.
