Section 266 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Department to maintain records of proceedings of family group conferences

266 Department to maintain records of proceedings of family group conferences (1) Every written record made pursuant to section 262 of this Act in relation to a family group conference shall be kept at the Office of the Department that is nearest to where the conference is held. (2) The following persons shall have access to any such record: (a) Any person who is required, by section 265 of this Act, to be sent a copy of that record: (b) Any Youth Justice Co-ordinator: (c) Any Social Worker: (d) Any other person who, in the opinion of a Youth Justice Co-ordinator, has a genuine and proper interest in the matter. (3) Nothing in this section limits or affects the Official Information Act 1982 . Subsection (1) was amended, as from 1 October 1999, by section 13 Department of Child, Youth and Family Services Act 1999 (1999 No 82) by omitting “ District ” .
