31 Procedure where no agreement possible (1) Where— (a) The members of a family group conference are unable to agree on what decisions, recommendations, or plans should be made in relation to the child or young person in respect of whom the conference was convened; or (b) A Care and Protection Co-ordinator is unable to secure agreement under section 30 of this Act to the decisions, recommendations, and plans made or formulated by a family group conference,— the Care and Protection Co-ordinator who convened the conference— (c) Shall,— (i) Where the conference was convened under section 18(1) of this Act on the basis of a report from a Social Worker or a member of the Police, make a report on the matter to that Social Worker or member of the Police; or (ii) In any other case, report the matter to a Social Worker: (d) Shall, where proceedings have been commenced under this Act in any Court in relation to the child or young person in respect of whom the conference was convened, report the matter to that Court: (e) Shall, in every case, consult with a Care and Protection Resource Panel. (2) Where a Care and Protection Co-ordinator makes a report, under subsection (1)(c)(i) or (ii) of this section, to any Social Worker or member of the Police, that Social Worker or member of the Police may take such action under this Act as that person considers appropriate.
