Section 311 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Supervision with residence order

311 Supervision with residence order (1) Where a charge against a young person is proved before a Youth Court, the Court may make an order placing the young person in the custody of the chief executive for a period of 3 months. (2) Where the Court makes an order under subsection (1) of this section in respect of a young person, it shall at the same time make an order under section 283(k) of this Act placing that young person under the supervision of the chief executive. (3) The order required to be made pursuant to subsection (2) of this section shall come into force on the expiry of the order made under subsection (1) of this section or the date on which the young person is released from the custody of the chief executive pursuant to section 314 of this Act, whichever first occurs.
