Section 445 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Witnesses expenses

445 Witnesses expenses (1) Where any person is required to give evidence before a Family Court or a Youth Court, that person may, if the Court so directs, be paid fees, allowances, and expenses, and the provisions of any regulations in that behalf under the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 and for the time being in force shall apply accordingly. (2) A Family Court or Youth Court, as the case may be, shall have the powers of a Court under any such regulations to fix or disallow, in whole or in part, or increase the amounts payable under those regulations.
