Section 64 — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989: Document produced under section 61 not to be used for any other purpose

64 Document produced under section 61 not to be used for any other purpose (1) A Social Worker or member of the Police to whom a document is produced for inspection under section 61 of this Act— (a) Shall make use of that document, and any copy of that document taken pursuant to section 63(b) of this Act, only for the purposes of this Part of this Act; and (b) Except for the purposes of this Part of this Act, shall not disclose that document, or any copy of that document taken pursuant to section 63(b) of this Act, to any other person. (2) Every person commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 who contravenes subsection (1) of this section.
