Section 121 — Companies Act 1993: Special meetings of shareholders

121 Special meetings of shareholders A special meeting of shareholders entitled to vote on an issue— (a) May be called at any time by— (i) The board; or (ii) A person who is authorised by the constitution to call the meeting: (b) Must be called by the board on the written request of shareholders holding shares carrying together not less than 5 percent of the voting rights entitled to be exercised on the issue.
